Photo by @CarltonWard // Beyond the better known beaches and amusement parks, the Florida Wildlife Corridor is held together by a network of nature preserves and working lands. Cattle ranches help keep the Corridor connected, while protecting watersheds and wildlife habitat. My cousin, Lefty Durando (black hat on the right) has just written an article from his perspective as a multi-generational rancher trying to protect the land (link in my bio). "We want long-term options to keep our lands natural and keep them from being turned into roof tops."
