New York Japanese American and their supporters, on Feb 18 in 2017, mark the 75th anniversary of the signing of Executive Order 9066 by President Franklin Delano Roosevelt that forced more than 120,000 Japanese immigrants and Japanese-Americans into the concentration camps, with the silent march and the candle lighting in Japanese American United Church to homage for the victims. Several concentration camp survivors and victims’ family members participated. Also other ethnic groups, including Muslims, joined, as Trump executive orders threatened human rights of many ethnic groups.
