The yellow glow is not the sunset but the light of nearby town #Kalambaka. Almost a scene of another planet in a science fiction movie! #Meteora means "middle of the sky" or "in the heavens above". The World Heritage site is a complex of unusual monasteries which are built on top (or inside) of giant natural sandstone rock pillars. Some are about a thousand years old and still in use.
