Photo by @Tim Laman. It’s rare to see a wild orangutan travel on the ground, but large adult males like this one are the most likely ones to do so. This male at Tuanan Research Station in Central Kalimantan not only came to the ground often, but liked to use the trails cut through the forest by the researchers.
