Photo by @Tim Laman. Little buddies. Orphan orangutans in captivity at a rescue center crave the contact they miss from their mothers, so they form buddy pairs. These guys spent the whole day hanging onto each other as they explored a forest patch at the International Animal Rescue center in Ketapang. Their mothers were killed so they could be sold as pets…. it’s a far cry from growing up wild in the rain forest.
