If it was possible, it would take 16 days for a today airliner to reach the moon non-stop (better to be!) at top speed. And 5 months for a car at highway speed of 70 mi/h. For the #Apollo astronauts it took 3-4 days. Several space tourism companies are planning for tours to the moon by 2030s with a spacecraft that loops around the Moon on a circumlunar trajectory (no landing) and returns to Earth, at estimated cost of ~ $100 million per seat, includes months of ground-based training.
