When you travel to every national park in one year as a photographer, you get to see a lot of amazing sunrises and sunsets in beautiful places. One of the more memorable sunrises of the year happened right here in Rocky Mountain National Park. It had snowed the previous evening, and we woke up quite early to hike up to this lake in the dark and cold for sunrise. We weren't sure what we were going to get, but just as the sun came up the mountains exploded in this purplish-pink wonder. It was so beautiful that it was hard to concentrate on photographing it! And the name of this lake? Dream Lake. It did indeed feel like a dream.
