2 year old Sioux, or Native American, child Serset looks onto his deserted, barren land in South Dakota, as the landscape is overlapped with him due to the reflection. Native Americans, like his ancestors, have experienced the tremendous oppression in the history. And it still continues. Yesterday, Jan 24th, Donald Trump Trump signed executive actions to advance the approval of the controversial pipelines -- the Dakota Access and Keystone, was recently stalled, in a move to expand energy infrastructure and roll back key Obama administration environmental actions. The Dakota Access Pipeline project, also known as Bakken Oil Pipeline, would extend 1,168 miles across North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, and Illinois, crossing through communities, farms, tribal land, sensitive natural areas and wildlife habitat. It could create a huge damage to the ecosystem, especially the water that is extremely critical for the natives. #Sioux #siouxtoddler #toddler #pipeline #DakotaAccessPipelineproject #donaldtrump #nativeamerican #americanindian
