When I say "reset" or "detox" I don't mean only drinking juice or bone broth for 7 days straight. While some may find that going that route works best for them, I prefer to reset + detox my body with plant-powered meals, snacks, and (of course) green smoothies.

Raw apple cider vinegar is a well-known superfood, in large part because of its powerful cleansing + healing properties. When I'm doing a reset, this Apple Cider Vinegar Tonic is always on the menu. I love drinking it before meals to help balance blood sugar levels, or in the afternoon as a little pick-me-up.

APPLE CIDER VINEGAR TONIC | Serves 1

INGREDIENTS:
8 ounces filtered water
1 tablespoon raw apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon raw honey
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

DIRECTIONS:
1) In a glass, stir together the raw honey and ground cinnamon.
2) Add the apple cider vinegar and stir until honey is dissolved. Add the water and stir well.
3) Drink immediately or refrigerate until ready to drink.
