@jaydickmanphoto. While on a recent National Geographic Photo Expedition to Japan, we had the opportunity to photograph Geisha in Kyoto. Many incredible photos have been made of Geisha, including Jodi Cobb’s iconic imagery of that same subject. I loved the red lipstick against the white makeup of the young woman. This has been an incredible year of travel for me, 31 countries in 2016. Almost all these were for National Geographic. Because of the Nat Geo connection, I was named by Travel + Leisure as “10 Fascinating People You Can Travel With in 2017”…what an honor!
