Between gingerbread cookies, snow days, and curling up with the fam to watch our favorite holiday movies, December truly is a magical month. What's even more magical is that every family seems to have their own holiday traditions and unique ways to warm the soul during this special time of year.

What's your favorite holiday tradition?

We'll share one of ours, too...making a warm wassail green smoothie to warm our hearts + nourish our bodies. We hope this will become a family favorite for you, too.

WARM WASSAIL GREEN SMOOTHIE | Serves 2
2 cups spinach
2 cups apple juice or cider, warmed
1 apple, peeled and cored
1 orange, peeled
1/2 cup cranberries
1/2-inch piece fresh ginger
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
Pinch ground cloves

DIRECTIONS
1. Blend spinach and apple juice until smooth.
2. Add the remaining ingredients. If using a high-speed blender, blend for 3-5 minutes or until very hot. If using a regular blender, blend until smooth and heat gently on the stove until warm.
