The hand of a noble women holds on to a price of red fabric. I watched as the hand was found, uncovered and removed from the tomb , El Castillo Huarmey. It was one of the coolest moments I have had the pleasure of witnessing, thanks to being able to work for the @ナショナルジオグラフィック
The tomb had been looted several times over the years, but the raiders missed the main chamber which offered up thousand of artifacts, gold, silver with pottery and elaborate fabrics. A Wari Noble man and over 50 others members of his family had been buried for over 1000 years.
