A male skeleton found at the site at the bottom on the bedrock. Its thought that because the skeleton was missing the left foot, he were meant to guard the mausoleum. Photographed at El Castillo de Huarmey in Huarmey, Peru.
El Castillo, a pyramid mausoleum on the southern coast of #Peru which provides evidence of a Wari Empire around 1000 A.D., pre-dating the Inca Empire.
