I am very thankful for the life I live. I have a great family and friends to lean on for support, a man I love, shelter, food, and CLEAN WATER. For most it isn't so easy. Thanksgiving is a great time to be thankful and to cherish our loved ones. We must also remember what happened that day. Remember the native americans who were slaughtered before the european immigrants feasted. Do something today to stand with standing rock as the Sioux nation continues to fight brute military forces for their basic human rights. Water is life. Our land is our mother. We must protect her, stand with the natives, and stop the DAPL (and all future pipelines). There are many ways you can help without physically attending the protests in North Dakota. Call representatives, email the big banks financing the inhumane project, donate, or say a prayer.
