Oh goodness, that was a loooong race day. But I did it- I finished the #vacationraces Everglades Half marathon and saw 8 gators! #bucketlist

This pic doesn't accurately show how tired and sore I was as I crossed the finish line. It was a rough 13.1 miles, but I'm glad I kept on putting one foot in front of the other. I think having my family at the finish line to celebrate with me made it all worth it.

I tried to share my run on IG Stories, but the cell service was so bad out there in the swamplands that I'm not even sure what posted. (I think it's a pretty eclectic mix at this point.)
