an end is also a beginning - another year round the sun, the scaffolding of a new chapter in place - three hundred and sixty-five days of sunrises, morning air, four seasons of sunsets on one side of the world and the other - I am always cautious of birthdays I sort of whisper the age I actually am hoping it will match the age I really feel but this hasn't ever happen to date - it always manifests as a time of intense self reflection & perhaps rightly so - wrapped up in longing, joy & gratitude - looking ahead and behind with excitement and even maybe a twinge of fear at this wild mad crazy beautiful beautiful life
