Five years ago today (Nov 3, 2011): I had no idea what would happen tearing down the paper and opening our doors on Spring Street for the first time. It never occurred to me how much this small but mighty bakery would change my life. Over the years, we put everything we had into this shop. But despite all the sacrifices, it has given me the greatest gifts I could imagine - my team of real troopers who work just as hard as I do; our family across the world in London and Tokyo; our very first guests whom are now our very dearest friends; and a chance to dream just a bit further everyday. Thank you all for your support. I am forever grateful. Happy 5th Anniversary DAB! You're old enough to go to Kindergarten, and I'm a proud papa from the day you were born.
