Pasang Gyalzen Sherpa is from
Theso, a tiny village in the Thame valley of the Khumbu in Nepal. He is a young man that loves to climb and run. He sought us out as @davidlama_official is a climber that inspires him. Pasang is a 2014 graduate of the @khumbuclimbingcenter. He is working this fall as a trekking guide. Last season he worked on Everest, reaching the summit for the first time. He also has the time on the Everest ultra marathon. This run starts in Namche goes up to Gokyo, over the Rinjo La (a pass at 5400 meters) down the Thame valley and finishes in Namche. It's a 5 day trek for most people. Pasang sent it in 9h12m. ?????? Great to see mountain sports become something the young generation of Sherpa pursue for the #fun if it.
