Standing above the other side of the Bay of Havana, the fortress Castillo De Los Tres Reyes Del Morro dates back to the late 1500s. The 82-foot-tall lighthouse, which was built by the Spanish colonial government in 1845 to mark the entrance to the port, now welcomes a growing tide of tourists from the United States. Havana is only 100 miles from my native Florida but has felt worlds away for my entire lifetime due to travel restrictions that are now relaxing. #Havana #Cuba #lighthouse #followme @carltonward
