On expeditions…when you leave everything behind, it’s easy to lose track of time. It’s almost a celebrated and defiant act in our age of connectedness. As I’ve gotten busier, my relationship with time and how I keep it has changed. And as much as I’d like that timeless quality of expeditions to be pervasive in my life, it can’t be. The truth is, when I’m home I’m all about filling in the spaces that the expeditions and assignments create…connecting with friends, life maintenance, continuing to grow creatively when I’m not in motion. When I partnered with @fossil to work on the #FossilQ Crewmaster Hybrid smartwatch, we wanted to tell the story of the spaces in-between the expanses, to look at even just a day in the life at home…be it how many steps I take, how many calls I’m missing, or whats coming up next.
