I've hiked along many of John Muir's trails throughout the west. But to see the birthplace of his inspiration in Scotland's highlands was something else altogether.

A small sign at the beginning of this trail said it was part the John Muir land trust a charity that protects wild places. As an artist... It moves me to think about how your work can live on long after you are gone.
