@daveeddiggs, the Tony-winning actor who played the Marquis de Lafayette and Thomas Jefferson in @hamiltonmusical, has been busy. Since leaving the hit musical in July, he immediately stepped into a whirlwind, starting with a new album from his long-running noise-rap collective, @clppng. @daveeddiggs described the album as the group’s most explicitly political work thus far. “The world we live in right now makes it pretty difficult not to be political,” he told @ニューヨーク・タイムズ. The 32-year-old’s other projects include a multi-episode arc on the sitcom @blackishabc, which returns on September 21, and #BARS, a workshop for actors and writers looking to bridge hip-hop and theater, which he founded with his longtime friend @rafaelcasal.
