New York? Nope. Try the Florida Panhandle yesterday before Hurricane Hermine made landfall over the NE Florida Gulf Coast last night. Unfortunately, thousands of people are without power, trees are down, roads are damaged and flooded, and there remains a flash flood threat through the Southeast States. While it can be hard to think about surf during these situations, it was hard not to if you were a surfer in Panama City over the last 36 hours. Several buoys ramped up to over 20ft yesterday during the peak of the swell. Things have eased today, but fun to solid surf remained in the water this morning. Photo: @jasondhines
