Every day he works with his daughters to prepare pesco crudo (raw fish) for patrons who sit by the sea. If you look up the restaurant on Google Street View, you can see the beautiful red building next door that I used as a backdrop for this portrait. I know of few other places where you can find this combination of beauty: a golden field next to a bright blue sea, with a Messapian city in the background. The Puglia region of Italy has a largely undeveloped coast.
