Ushered in a new decade of life with a trip to the eastside with my favorite human (@adrianballinger ?) and two of the most incredible routes I've ever climbed. Peace ✌️followed by the infamous and legendary Bachar-Yerian. Can't quite decide which was more demanding, but the BY sure did live up to all the lore and mystique. Hard to imagine the wild experience John Bachar must have had while establishing such a bold and perfect line - what a badass he was ? One thing became clear to me over the last two days - both routes reveal brilliant visions of believing in the improbable and a spirit of adventure unique to rock climbing. What a gift it has been to have found this lifestyle over 20 years ago now. Today I'm 30, stoked as ever, and ready for whatever's next.
