Photo by @pedromcbride // Helping people in local communities, saves gorillas. It’s estimated that less than 900 mountain gorillas survive in Virunga today. Their survival is inextricably linked to the humans who live in this war-torn region. I snapped this shot while working with @savinggorillas on a film project called “Hope.” The Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund works tirelessly to track, monitor and protect these magnificent creatures, and preserve their habitats in Rwanda and Congo. #Followme @pedromcbride for more stories from around the world.
