Photo by @FransLanting Earth and water interact on a grand scale where the Malaspina Glacier slowly grinds past Alaska’s Wrangell Mountains, pushing lines of rocky sediments crushed from the rugged slopes by the pressure and movement of ice. At an altitude of 17,000 feet I shot through an open window of a small plane to get an overview of this gigantic river of ice. #Follow me @FransLanting for more images of wild places around the world.
