Italian artist #PieroManzoni was born on this day in 1933. Influenced by #YvesKlein, Manzoni experimented with a series of works he called "Achromes" in varying materials, all lacking color. He produced Achromes using white clay, white cotton wool, fiberglass, rabbit skin, and bread, even experimenting with phosphorescent paint so that the "colors" would change over time. #Guggenheim
