See the world through the eyes of #MarcChagall, born on this day in 1887. "The Flying Carriage" (1913), currently on view in the our Guggenheim Collection exhibition, was painted after the artist moved to Paris from Russia in 1910. In Paris he began experimenting with Cubism, but developed a distinct style, often painting dream-like scenes rooted in personal history and folklore.
