Photo by @pedromcbride // The highest resident on the Ganges River lives in a stone hut at 14,000 feet above the Gangortri Glacier. As a sign of his devotion to the mother Ganga and his life as a Sadhu, he has not spoken a word in a decade. They call him “Silent Baba,” a complex character, living a simple life. He doesn’t care about Instagram, or likes, or even cell phones... He does care about survival and his spiritual existence. He also makes the best cup of chai I’ve ever tasted. The view of the 20,000-foot Bhagarathi Peaks looming in the distance, helps. #holyunholyriver #chasingrivers
