A peek into the selection process of new member, associate, and nominee photographers at a Magnum Annual General Meeting in Paris, 1987.
Becoming a full member of Magnum Photos takes a minimum of four years. Photographers are only considered at the AGM each year, where one day is set aside for reviewing portfolios and voting.
This year the AGM is in London, June 23-26, and we will hold a program of public events including a quiz hosted by @martinparrstudio, photobook signings and a ping-pong tournament organised by Alec Soth @littlebrownmushroom.
