Zē, a traditional spear fisherman from the village of Caravelas, swims over the Abrolhos Reef, a marine protected area off the coast of Brazil, to find some fish for his family. Protection from commercial and industrial fisheries provides a safe haven for the fish to reproduce and grow while ensuring food for small scale fishermen.
