Flying high above the frozen ice sheets we came into view of the lonely & proud Maelifell volcano which sits on Iceland's Highlands between Thórsmörk and Landmannalaugar.
The size of the frozen volcano really helps you gain perspective on how much land there is to explore in the arctic.
