This is Teri Kroll. Her son, Timothy, overdosed on opioids. He was overprescribed the drugs by a doctor who was also selling them for cash. Timothy reported the doctor to the authorities, then he died a few months later. The doctor was arrested but was only sentenced to six months in jail. Teri has made it her mission to seek justice for her son. In the #PrescriptionAddiction town hall, Teri wanted to know how we make sure doctors who abuse their access to opiods are held accountable.
