Ray Lucas is a former NFL quarterback who started taking painkillers after a football injury. “At my worst, I had taken 80 a day at one point,” Lucas says, “I was a functioning addict.” Ray survived his addiction and shared his story at the CNN #PrescriptionAddiction town hall to make sure others know they can overcome it too.
