Excited for my coach & to get to be a part of this new era of Team OC. Starting next week i will be splitting my time 50/50 each month between Florida and Georgia... which hopefully will turn 100% soon when all of our ducks are in a row. I’m excited to announce I'm turning a new chapter. For the last two years I’ve humbly received requests to formally affiliate Oly Concepts with other gyms. It’s something I’ve always considered but could never determine a way to do so without losing quality in my program. What I’ve done in a more casual format, is establish my Oly Concepts “satellite” program for athletes and coaches, which I’m happy to share that we are now ready to expand in an official capacity. Starting in May, I begin a new endeavor to continue educating, coaching, and providing services of Olympic Weightlifting as Oly Concepts. To ensure the same quality experience for my athletes, this effort requires my full attention. So I’ve made the difficult decision to sell Altamonte CrossFit. In order to create what I’m envisioning, and continue to ensure my CrossFitters still get the best fitness experience, I can’t split my attention across two businesses, even though many aspects overlap. Oly Concepts will have a primary location, its HQ if you will, at the new “One EW at Altamonte”, where the former CrossFit Tire Factory was located (475 W. State Road 436, Altamonte Springs, FL 32714). All my athletes and coaches will follow me, though the CrossFit side will be under new ownership. Oly Concepts will operate independently at this and all EW locations, as their official provider of Olympic Weightlifting, with plans to expand to other areas of Florida and if there is a demand, around the country. This is not a downsizing, closing, or an end to anything at all but rather an exciting growth and expansion. Each Oly Concepts satellite location will have an experienced Oly Concepts coach with respective satellite athletes. It will be open to anyone who wants to learn or to advance their career
