On my last day here I took a ride out to Tung Chung; from here you can take a cable car which will fly you into the clouds and between the green peaks of Lantau Island. If you're lucky enough to go on a particularly misty day then they'll be a cool moment when through the white mist an earrie shadow will slowly appear. It belongs to the Tian Tan Buddha (one of five enormous Buddha's in China), but unlike the others this one faces north rather than south and I never found out the reason why. Do any HK'ers know? This is the sort of thing that will bug me until I find out (I'll take any answer, even a made up one). Sadly this is my last post from HK - thanks for keeping up with me on here, sending suggestions & saying 'hi' when you've seen me out shooting with the cutouts. Theres so much more to do out here in HK so I'll be back someday, but for now I'm heading home and planning my next trip to New York.
