Suzanne Farrell is a Software Engineer who works at Dolby on #DolbyVision. Suzanne spoke to the finalists of Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War – Girls Reforming the Future Challenge, which Dolby co-sponsored. The finalists, all young women between the ages of 15 and 18, submitted a STEM project that has the potential to benefit the world. Suzanne explained some technical aspects of Dolby Vision, and how she began working on the technology at Dolby, and came away from the experience impressed by the young finalists. “I was just blown away by all these projects. In technology, you need to know how to break barriers — and that’s what Dolby’s all about — breaking barriers with sound and with vision. The fact that they’re exposed to technology at this age is great because they know how to think about things in a different way.” - Suzanne Farrell
