Yesterday was a rest day, where I was able to hang out in Damascus, Virginia. In Damascus, the TransAmerica bike trail crosses the Appalachian Trial for the last time (heading west). Hikers fill the town and hostels are plentiful. Today I hit the road again, headed towards Kentucky.
