Happy Birthday, Bodo Illgner! The former Germany goalkeeper turns 49 today. During his career he played for 1. FC Köln and Real Madrid. With Illgner in their ranks, Madrid would win La Liga twice, as well as two UEFA Champions League crowns. Aged just 23, Illgner became the youngest goalkeeper to win the FIFA World Cup in 1990. He famously denied England in a semifinal penalty shootout and then became the first goalkeeper to keep a clean sheet in a World Cup final as the Germans beat defending champion Argentina 1-0.
