Photo: @camdavidsonphoto Low-level aerial of a farm along the banks of the Mississippi River in Missouri during the Great Flood of 1993. I spent almost a month shooting aerials of the flood, from a mix of Bell Jet Ranger, Schweitzer 300 National Guard Huey's and Coast Guard Daulphine helicopters covering the flood for National Geographic. The majority of the shooting was from Bell Jet Ranger helicopters and Iwe flew from the southern portion of Missouri all the way up to Des Moines, Iowa. Besides myself in the air, Jim Richardson @jimrichardsonng, Jodi Cobb @jodicobbphoto and Rick Rickman were on the ground and in the water photographing this amazing flood that did not break for close to five weeks. Checking my notes, I spent 72 hours in the air shooting over three weeks.
