The same ensemble of palm trees I posted a photograph of yesterday, here seen 7 years later, in 2010. The fluctuation in sea level and increased salinity of the Salton Sea have led to an environmental decay that is now nearing catastrophic dimensions. I’ve photographed the Salton Sea repeatedly over the past years and witnessed many changes over time.
