A dog welcomed the photographer @csmphotos to its home in Tuktoyaktuk, a remote Canadian village in the Northwest Territories. In late 2017, Tuktoyaktuk, known locally as Tuk, will welcome a new road. In most places, a new road might make things more convenient. But for the people of Tuk — which, right now, is only accessible by an ice road that’s open 4 months of the year — it will mean a year-round connection to the rest of the world.
