This week’s large #PurpleBlobOfTheWeek comes to us from an intense hurricane force system that developed over the Northwest #Pacific. This blob can actually be designated as a #PlatinumBlobOfTheWeek due to it’s center depicting wave heights of 45’ or larger. The storm has sent XXL NW swell to #Hawaii that will peak late Wednesday. An initial pulse of WNW swell will build in for #California over the next couple of days before a solid and longer period pulse of WNW swell fills in towards the end of the week.
