Libby Hill Park, Richmond, Virginia during the first major snowstorm of the season. The storm named Jonas, charged up the East Coast on Saturday, propelled by tropical-storm-force winds. Accumulation totals around the metro Richmond area were between 11 to 16 inches and these measurements make the storm the biggest snow event in the region since 2000 and the 11th largest overall snowfall total recorded in the Richmond area by the National Weather Service.
