I used to drive by this oil field every day on my hourlong drive to work on 'The OC'... It was pretty damn cool to be working there on an indie film last night -- and to realize how much open space there is left in Culver City. It's not beautiful at the moment, but I can only hope that eventually the city makes the choice to turn this land into a nature preserve to share with the people of Los Angeles. Please don't turn it into yet another shopping center!! The views are incredible and the land has a magical ability to regenerate. #nature #valleyofbones #bigpicture
