In this photo of Tabby you can see quite clearly the white stripe under her eyes which help reflect light into the retina. Helps with night vision. Makes sense as lions are nocturnal. This is in contrast to cheetah who have black stripes (tear drops) for light absorption which helps them hunt in the day. #interestinglionfacts #savelions #savehabitat
