Photo by @michaelclarkphoto // Teahupo’o, one of the world's most famous big-wave surfing spots, breaking and exploding on the edge of the reef, about one kilometer off shore, with the spectacular steep and daunting mountains of Tahiti rising in the background. This image was created while photographing surfers on the wave from a boat. We went up and over the shoulder of every wave that came through. The waves were quite large this day so every time they crashed down on the reef the explosions were spectacular. #tahiti #teahupoo
