Photo by @KristaRossow. // One of the thousands of wonders in Kyoto, Japan, is Kinkaku-ji, or the Golden Pavilion. Like many other popular tourist sites, this Zen Buddhist temple is a victim of its own popularity, attracting loads of tourists. But somehow, despite the crowds, serenity can be found if you slow down long enough to soak in the view. I loved photographing this great blue heron and the reflection of trees in the pond.
