Photo by @andywcoleman // During the day, lions tend to spend most of the time resting. When there are cubs around, however, the energy of the pride can be much different. This particular pride of lions at the Phinda Game Reserve in South Africa had a set of young cubs along with some cousins that were about a year older. As the adults slept, the younger cubs were in a constant state of motion - running, fighting playing - until they passed out from exhaustion. They never stopped for long. It was almost like they were afraid they would be missing out on something if they were asleep. #southafrica @natgeocreative
